Artist Statement: My goal as an artist is to take the challenge of capturing aspects of everyday life, turning the usual into the unusual, or providing the viewer with a different "look" at the ordinary. It is exciting to be able to paint a landscape scene, or found still-life, creating depth and emotion within a work of art.
