Artist Statement: "There are painters who transform the sun to a yellow spot, but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun."-Pablo Picasso I paint Plen Air landscape paintings. The studies usually last for about an hour or as long as ""mother nature"" will allow. I have been incredibly influenced by the Hudson River Painters and the Impressionists. I believe that artists of those particular movements made the landscape an acceptable subject for a painting,.
