CATTARAUGUS REGION OPEN STUDIO TOUR

For the first time ever, thirty-five artists’ studios in Cattaraugus County and Northern Pennsylvania opened their studios on May 17 and 18 for Routes to Art, a self-guided open studio tour managed by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council (CCAC). Designed to showcase a wealth of regional artistic talent (including painters, photographers, sculptors, fiber artists, handcrafted jewelers, and potters), visitors were invited to drive through quaint villages and towns to visit artists, view art, and purchase art. The tour was a major success, and CCAC looks forward to making Routes to Art 2009 even bigger!
