Medium: Turned Burls
Artist Statement: Turning burls is the art of uncovering the hidden forms and shapes in unpredictable pieces of wood. Nature provides the inspiration for turning the burls into bowls, vases, and abstracts. In addition to creating these pieces, I also make custom furniture, doors, cabinets, and architectural millwork, and I will tackle projects others deem impossible.
