Artist Statement: "Being a visual person I see the world as a store of shapes,forms,colors, and light. For the past 37 years I have used the camera as a tool to create images of the landscapes,people, and abstractions that inspire me. Many of my recent prints are works taken in Europe and in particular Italy. I seek the sublime and love the mysterious, but never force the viewer to find a message or meaning. I want my images to be aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable to look at. The final print is where 4 decades of studying photography culminates my passion for the art. The giclee prints I create are printed with a 12 ink printer on heavyweight 100% rag papers and are designed to last over 100 years.
